Round&Round Rotterdam
During the weekend I love spending time with family and friends, especially at coffee places. It’s a good way for me to wind down after the hustle and bustle of the working week. This Sunday my boyfriend and I met some friends at Round&Round in Rotterdam. My friend had heard a lot of good things about the place and wanted to try it, so we decided to meet up there. It was a short walk from Rotterdam Blaak station.
The room of the café is a bit small (heard that there could be a line on Saturdays) but very cozy and cute.
The menu is Japanese inspired with different matcha drinks and lots of tea options, including cold brew of tea – never heard about that before, but also coffee. For food they had a lot of Swiss rolls, but also Japanese pancakes. It was pretty hot outside that day, so something with ice seemed more appropriate than a steaming cup of coffee (I love!!). I choose the Ice Matcha Latte with a strawberry Swiss roll. It was delicious! The ice matcha latte was the best one I’ve had so far. My boyfriend wanted one with ice cream on top, but they were out. So it’s a popular place and well deserved, yummy!
